Overdose of Air Signs [I]

During my three weeks Chinese New Year break, I spent most of my time with my secondary school best friends and I had the time of my life! =D Whenever Chinese New Year is around the corner, I will only look forward to eating delicacies and most importantly, sufficient amount of holidays [But unfortunately, it is never enough! =( ]. This time around, I look forward to spending more time with my hometown friends! =D

I am never a fan of house visiting yet because I often find it boring in many certain ways and angpau-s collection do not thrill me at all. Yes, I was like that ever since young =P… Even though some of my friends do not agree with me and refuted by saying that it is a tradition and all, but to me, you can have a thousand and one traditions but it doesn’t means that I will have a liking for it =P…

So anyway, this time I will blog about my Chinese New Year house visiting where the only fun part is spending time with my best friends, eating mandarin oranges and playing cards =P…

Ai Leng the Cow was very late. She mentioned that everyone should arrive at 10am at Weng Chiew’s house and she conveniently turned up at 10am at my door step .______. In a way, I have already guessed that Ai Leng would be late [As usual! =P] so I actually took all the time in the world to prepare! =P Ah… This is what happens when you know your best friends too well! =P

I think the only thing that I did not regretted attending Convent school [Well, not like I have a choice anyway! =P] is to have a whole bunch of awesome friends from Convent =]… I just realized that most of my Convent best friends are just like me where we are very open about our personal feelings to each other =]… Well, maybe the bond is always there no matter what =]…

These are the people who have been with me ever since standard 1 right up to Form 5 and some even till Form 6! =D Well, that is many years of friendship and I am sure to appreciate it till the end =]…

Have both of you ever had any feelings for any of our guy friends? 

This question made me laugh because the answer is no for now! =P To me, they are all always my best friends and friends. Sometimes, I think the reason why we can never develop feelings for each other was due to the fact that we know each other too well =P… I know almost all their skeletons hidden in their closet and they too know about mine =X… Therefore, those skeletons in our closet are something like our proof of friendship/brotherhood/sisterhood =P…

Honestly, I am a very irritating person to have Chinese lunch/dinner with because I am very picky/choosy with my selection of food and this is the reason why I avoided having Chinese food with my friends all the time because I know that I will just annoy everyone on the table =|. Well, you cannot force someone to have a liking for food that the person do not like. Don’t like means don’t like la [But I love Chinese 10 course dinner!! =D Yum!! =D !!]

Although I wasn’t very happy during lunch due to some circumstances but I understand that it is no one’s fault. In a way, I wished that I stood up for myself but then again, that would be selfish. So I guess, sometimes you just gotta shut up, compromise and everyone else will be happy.

I didn’t know since when my friends started to fight over who should pay the bill. When I was young, I used to watch this little drama/friendly match happening between my parents and relatives and I used to think that only the elderly will do such a thing. This scares me a lot now, does that simply implies that one day I will be just like them?! O____O…

Playing pick up sticks and this is one of my favourite childhood games! =D I had this set of pick up sticks ever since primary school and they are all still in very good condition [Not even one stick is missing okay! =P].

And as the title of this post, I was with 3 Aquarius [Ee Jane, Ai Leng and Porkie] and 2 Libra [Nano and Pico] the whole day thus the title – Overdose of Air Signs =P… Yea, this is just PART ONE! =P

Why Do You Meet Idiots

In every chapters of your life, you are bound to meet an idiot or two and maybe even more than that. To me, these people never fail to light up your world in so many ways because it simply shows how you are never an idiot when you are compared to them in juxtaposition thus – we thank God in all ways. I have written two blog posts [Click here and here] for two idiots that I have met in the same chapter of my life and one of them managed to redeem himself though.

This post is directed to a person whom I do not want as a friend anymore for now. Your friendship ethics, ignorance, insincerity, attitude and manners disgusted me in every way. To me, I have a lot to say about X and W – that is probably because at that time, those two idiots and I are almost strangers again. But to you, I have always been glad that I have met you as a friend and junior thus, I have nothing much to say – because I am utterly disappointed with you.

As for you – what goes around comes around. When things screwed up for you, you called me and I comforted you, telling you that it’s all gonna be okay. When you needed help, I helped you and even gave you my best help. When you told about your boyfriend stories and how I do think that many times you are an idiot at that time, I still listen to you although I am yawning at the other side of the screen. Where did I went wrong, I honestly do not know but to agree that I am the idiot for being so nice to you from the very first time we knew each other.

Once bitten, twice shy. You are never to regain my trust and friendship ever again for now. To me, I always believe that you will reap what you sow. 

2012

I couldn’t really remember the last time I went out to celebrate New Year because all I remembered now is I stayed at home to play games with my best friends online and then we didn’t even realize that it was New Year. By the time we realized it, it will probably be 12.30am and to us, New Year simply means back to school in less than a week time =X…

This time around, I welcomed the year 2012 with Wei Jie at Sunway Pyramid. Sunway Pyramid has been a place that is full of good and bad memories for me. Back then, whenever I am in Sunway Pyramid, I will always be reminded of two ‘best friends’ where things went wrong between us but this time around, as I started off my New Year in 2012, I am very glad that for now, everything ‘right’ went wrong for a good reason.

My not so brave quarter chicken portion =D… Some of my friends asked me if I prefer Nando’s or Kenny Rogers but until today, I cannot really decide because both have their very own specialty.

The last time we visited Sunway Pyramid, we didn’t have the chance to snap the outdoor Christmas decorations and whenever I snap outdoor photographs, I will always wish that I had a DSLR ._____. This is another long lost dream of mine that will take years or forever to come true .______.

Three of the best fireworks photos that I took! =D This is my very first time snapping fireworks photos and it was a great experience although I personally do feel that a DSLR will take better photographs [That's the difference between a DSLR and a P-N-S camera =P...].

All in all, my New Year in 2012 has been an awesome one as well and for now, I hope that this marks a good start and hope for the year 2012 =D.

Last Christmas

Whenever I thought about Christmas 2009 [You can read all about it here], I smiled because I remembered the good times that I had during Christmas 2009! =D But nonetheless, Christmas 2009 too reminded me of many ruefulness and in a way, some of it still scare me a little when I thought about it. But then again, we must always stay positive and look forward to a better future =D. Christmas 2010 [You can read all about it here] reminded me of gaps which I can never bridge anymore, relationships [Friends and family] which are never meant to be at all from the very beginning.

Sometimes, no matter how hard you try – it is not going to work. I did not give up for years. I used to look forward to a day where things will all be the same again but sadly, I know that the day that I am looking forward to will never arrive because things are getting worse than it is before. So why bother waiting for the day to arrive when you can look forward to many other better days that lies ahead  isn’t it? =D

Anyway, Christmas 2011 is now known as last Christmas and I had one of the most awesome Christmas celebration ever! =D

Last Christmas, I went around shopping mall hopping with Wei Jie just to take photos with the Christmas decoration =D. Ever since young, I have always loved Christmas decorations because they always look so dreamy and fantasy like =D.

On Christmas day, I spent the whole day at my uncle’s place at Cheras. To me, there were more talking done between the older generation as compared to the younger generation. The younger generation [Including me of course =P] were hooked on the television or laptop and in my case, it is my netbook although later on the younger generation did try to talk among each other especially when the topic is about cosmetics =P… Well I guess, girls will always be girls! =) =D

The most meaningful day of last Christmas will be my Christmas Eve celebration =D… To me, this Christmas Eve came as a surprise for me and I love good surprises! =D I spent the whole of Christmas Eve with Wei Jie =D… We first went to Pavilion to take photos with the Christmas decorations and I am always amazed with how different and beautiful [More beautiful actually] the decorations are every year although it may be just very simple decorations =D… Well, a simple life could always be beautiful too =D…

After photo taking around Pavilion, Wei Jie brought me to a restaurant that brings back many childhood and teenage memories – some are memories that I will never want to forget and some are just memories that I have already forgotten. But at that point of time when I knew that we were going to that particular restaurant, I was only reminded of my childhood memories =D…

When we arrived at Victoria Station, I remembered how things were beautiful back then and it still can be beautiful now in a different way =D…

Bread and butter – One of my favourite foods =)…

Fresh watermelon juice and fresh mango juice. 

Every single visit to Victoria Station, I will definitely order fresh mango juice =D… To me, it is the first drink that I ever tried [For as far as I remember! =P] ever since I started visiting Victoria Station and I have never changed my choice ever since =P… I am such a loyal consumer =P ! But then again, the fresh mango juice is obviously very good! The texture of the drink is thick and the taste is very reflective of the fruit itself =D !

Prawn mango salad =D… This is my dad’s favourite appetizer and whenever we visit Victoria Station, this is a must have in our order list=D…

Some other appetizer with caviar =P… This is my first time trying this appetizer and it tasted as good as the prawn mango salad! =D It is a completely new taste and feel as compared to prawn mango salad =D.

My seafood and lobster meal =D… Ever since I knew Wei Jie, I began to love lamb but no matter how much liking I have for lamb, I still tend to pick seafood over lamb =P… I guess no matter what, I am still a seafood lover <3 =P

Every time I pay a visit to Victoria Station, I am definitely the slowest person to finish up my food because I will savour and enjoy my food slowly so yea, you can imagine how good it is! =D If you haven’t been to Victoria Station before, try visiting this restaurant and you will never regret! =D

All in all, I had an awesome Christmas meal this time around and yes, there will always be sunshine and rainbow after the rain =D… All you gotta do is just believe and have a little faith =]…

My Christmas present and I! =D

It has been awhile since I last received a Christmas present and this time around, Wei Jie got me a pair of GAP jeans! =D And it is the pair of jeans that I have been dreaming about for a very long time but did not have the money to buy it. Thank you so much honey! =D <3 ! To me, last Christmas was like a dream come true, a memory that I will hold on to and cherish for the rest of my life <3.
